Felted cairn

3/6/2018

A cairn is a stack of rocks used as directional guidance.  They are left on trails to guide the hiker on which way to proceed.

This cairn is made from carved high-density foam rock shapes that are stacked with as many rocks as you want.   I use 12-gauge wire attached to the bottom rock and the other rocks are threaded over it.
