Three resists are sewn together to create a "book" which can be used again many times. The bowl is felted as usual but with three sides instead of two. Wool is laid out on one side, folded over the page and continued on to the next page resist.
When felted, a hole is cut in the top and the resist twisted and pulled out. This makes the sides between each page increase.
The sides expand out and the vessel corners migrate upward.
Bubble wrap is stuffed inside and the vessel is left to dry.
I have now made three of these!
The surfaces between the edges have expanded and the vessel becomes larger.
